Yourkey responsibilities

You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.

  • Working in project teams through agreed upon phases of projectgovernance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis,customization, testing, training and rollout of a client's projectlifecycle

  • Leading team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools,approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiateEY in the Digital and Emerging Technology Advisory market

  • Teaming with client technology professionals, and third-partystrategic alliances

  • Servant Leader – Must be able to garner respectfrom his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the jobdone

  • Communicative and social – Must be able tocommunicate well with teams

  • Facilitative – Must be able to lead anddemonstrate value-add principles to a team

  • Assertive – Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrumconcepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reasonand authority, make the tough calls.

  • Situationally Aware – Must be the first tonotice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them tomanagement

  • Continual improvement – Must continually be growingone’s craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and ateam

  • Conflict resolution – Must be able to facilitatediscussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches

  • Developing long-term relationships and networksboth internally and externally

  • Interacting and communicating effectively withteammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives

To qualify for therole you must have

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 or moreyears of related work experience

  • Scrum Master certification

  • Good skills andknowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparencyand servant leadership

  • Knowledge of Agileapproaches – Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.

  • Knowledge andexperience with Agile techniques – Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, ContinuousIntegration, Testing, Pairing, Agile Games, etc.Experience managing multiple teams, combined teams (internal &external)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage clientexpectations and adjust to reality

  • Must be able to facilitate discussion andfacilitate alternatives or different approaches

  • Understand basic fundamentals of iterativedevelopment

  • Understand incremental delivery and the valueof metrics

  • Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics,velocity, and task definition

  • Familiarity with common Agile practices,service-oriented environments, and better development practices

  • Guide and coach the team and organization tofollow Agile/Scrum practices

  • Guide and coach the team to becomeself-organized

  • Improve transparency within the team

  • Guide the team to find the right person withinthe organization that can help them

  • Build a safe and trusting environment whereconflicts can be managed in a healthy way without fear of blame

  • Be responsible for supporting and coaching theProduct Owner on Agile/Scrum practices

  • Project team timelines based on capacityplanning aligned to the product roadmap

  • Deliver team-based metrics aligned to theprogram’s reporting structure

  • Strong writtenand verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writingskills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integratingenterprise business processes with technology skills

Ideally, you’ll alsohave

  • Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT,Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master’s degree in one of theseareas preferred

  • Certifications highly preferred
