The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.
Our Retail Services team partners with retail merchants to issue private label credit cards to consumers for use at their store. It's one of the largest entry points for new households into Wells Fargo.
The Research/Remediation Analyst 1 is responsible for review of retail billing disputes typically related to product or terms of account.
Performs reasonable investigation to determine appropriate course of action, conducting investigative steps to fully identify the issues, researching product information, terms, conditions, contracts, etc., creating correspondence as needed, processing complex and/or corrective transactions on-line (including monetary and non-monetary actions).
Communicates with others (including customers, merchants, clients, executives, agencies, regulators, bankers) to ensure resolution/negotiation of sensitive and/or time-critical matters.
May serve as an intermediary to resolve disputed matters; negotiates and enacts settlements.
Recommend standards, policies, and/or procedures to correct deficiencies.
Ensures identified risks and/or problems are clearly documented.
Bilingual Spanish skills would be a plus although there is not a dedicated Spanish queue or phone line. Language differential pay is not available.
- 4+ years of customer contact experience in a financial services environment; or 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services operations, underwriting, or quality assurance
Call center customer service experience in the financial services industry
Experience supporting a phone, email, online or digital contact center environment
Bilingual speaking and reading proficiency in Spanish/English
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
IA-Des Moines: Min: $41,600 Mid: $57,800 Max: $74,000
IA-Des Moines: 800 Walnut St - Des Moines, IA
