Fiserv Relationship Manager in Des Moines, Iowa

What does a great Relationship Manager do?

In this role of a trusted advisor, assures client satisfaction and retention by maintaining overall quality of multiple products and services for clients. Serves as focal point for both external and internal customers. Maintains strong working relationships with business leaders throughout the organization and associated internal/external communication; provides executive level reporting on Fiserv performance cross-sells additional products and services which maximize both client and Fiserv profitability; develops client solutions to market challenges; leads business development effort for all client specific activities and services; breaks down barriers when necessary to assure quality products and services are provided; and institutes remedial actions when appropriate to control and eliminate Fiserv and client liability. Responsible for negotiation of client contracts to include renewal effort as well as cross-sell of additional products and services.

Working on highly complex issues and high profile clients with a high breadth of responsibility. The work is broad in nature, requiring originality or ingenuity. Decisions have a major impact on the end results of the business unit.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School graduate/GED

  • 7+ years of progressively responsible industry experience in a customer facing role.

  • Prior experience in the merchant acquiring business.

  • Cross functional experience with finance, pipeline management experience, deal closing experience, price costing, and volume grid experience.

  • In depth understanding of the organization, industry, and ability to anticipate future strategy and quickly summarize issues.

  • Experience in Relationship Management, Product sales and pipeline management, Customer support: trends & directions.

  • Experience in Customer Support Policies, Standards and Procedures, customer Interaction, problem management and account Management.

  • Knowledge of Product Line
