A STIA’s (Technical Training Administator/Technical Facilitator) uniquie knowledge of security operations, concepts, constraints and best practices to evaluate and implement training products and services for specialized security training are essential in ensuring the best curriculum support to the customer. In addion a STAI’s analyzes and evaluates alternate training concepts and approaches. Designs, develops, evaluates and assesses training materials using established policies and procedures. Selects and integrates technologies, lessons learned, and evaluation results to improve training materials and increase the effectiveness of training. Their expert knowledge and experience in security is intrinsic to developing new training concepts and providing comprehensive training support.

TSA Specialized Security Program: Expertise in Check Baggage Screening Training, including all associated policies and procedures; Expertise in Technology / Equipment and Technology / Equipment Training, including all associated policies, procedures, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Training; Expertise in conducting investigations and determining enforcement actions; Collaborative and professional communications Critical Thinking Skills, Conflict Resolution, Leadership, Teambuilding and Command Presence; Diversity and Inclusion.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

  • 8 year experience providing direct support to airports and airport personnel to communicate technology training

  • 8 year experience resolving issues with new releases of equipment

  • 8 year experience providing instructional support to airports; and expertise in TSA Check Baggage Screening operations, procedures and related TSE.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6- 10 years experience in all aspect of TSA Checked Baggage operations, equipment, processes and procedures.
