As a member of theFoth Infrastructureengineering team, you will help clients meet these challenges while minimizing impacts to the community and the environment. From airports to utilities, roads, and bridges, you will be a part of providing effective solutions that are cost-conscious and practical.Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Civil Engineering Intern who has a desire to contribute to our clients’ success and is looking for new learning experiences and opportunities for career growth. This position will be working out of ourDes Moines, IAlocation.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform construction observation for civil municipal, transportation and/or airport projects

  • Assist with survey work, designing and drafting, quantity take-offs, plan/permit preparation, report writing and research

  • Perform routine civil engineering support tasks under the direction of an engineer

Required Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Civil Engineering/Construction program at an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPA of 3.0 or greater

  • Previous experience with the following:

  • Working as a civil engineering intern/co-op

  • AutoCad/MicroStation
