Instructor of Chemistry
Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
Prior experience teaching science courses in a post-secondary setting.
Experience with and interest in instrument maintenance including LC-MS, FPLC, ICP and NMR.
Teaching 24 credit hours per academic year
Successfully engaging with students from a wide range of backgrounds, races, cultures, ethnicities, sexual preferences, abilities, and nationalities in a manner that positively promotes the Chemistry discipline-s impact on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Participating in the collaborative work of the department including program assessment and the ongoing development of courses and laboratories
Maintaining department instrumentation, including instrumentation in advanced laboratory courses. This responsibility requires availability during the summer months.
