Principal Info Security Engineer (cloud) in Des Moines, Iowa

Initial focus will be on Data Loss Prevention and related Insider Threat capabilities. Here are few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do :
This position will work side-by-side security engineers and analysts passionate about protecting our confidential data, intellectual property and defending against insider risk.
Establish data discovery, classification, content inspection, and encryption solutions to help mitigate the risk of data loss, unauthorized use of or access to regulated or high value data and minimize the risks of data breaches.
Demonstrate information security expertise to transform security, privacy, and data policies into technical rules to detect misuse of data with appropriate alerting and response processes.
Review and analyze complex data and information to provide insights, conclusions and meaningful data protection recommendations that align with business needs and processes.
Define business and technical requirements for data loss and insider threat detection and prevention solutions.
Recommend, architect and design solutions that ensure successful human-technology interactions while protecting our sensitive data.
Develop, test and implement new and changing data protection processes and procedures while ensuring solutions align to an operational framework that is optimized for team efficiency.
Work with solutions that improve data protection for SaaS/Paas/IaaS environments.
We’re looking for someone with:
Associate's or bachelor’s degree with a preference in a computer science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience and 3+ years of related Info Security experience (examples could include hands-on troubleshooting, analysis, coding, or technical expertise to resolve incidents and service requests)
Data Loss Prevention experience (DLP, encryption or data classification are a few examples)
Experience with scripting using RESTful API, PowerShell, Python, and/or other automation tools
Additional preferred technical experience:
Experience with Cloud security technologies and techniques (AWS preferred)
Experience leading and managing initiatives and system implementations
Experience with analyzing and interpreting data from different sources, detailing the results and providing meaningful analysis reports and briefings
Experience with data protection technologies and cloud tooling (Data Classification, DLP,, Encryption, and CASB solutions)
Understanding of infrastructure services including firewalls, networks and proxies.
Experience utilizing reporting tooling (PowerBI, etc.)
Data leakage/content monitoring and filtering
Insider Threat or User Behavior Analytics technologies
