As the Human Resources Global Mergers & Acquisitions Program Manager, you’ll serve as the HR Leader globally for all company Merger, Acquisition and Divesture activity. In this fast-paced role, you'll serve as lead for all HR functions from due diligence through integration.
How you'll spend your day to day:
Responsible for integrating HR strategy with business strategy; representing HR on core company deal team and actively participating in negotiation related activities.
Leads broad HR due diligence and performs or facilitates risk assessment, providing specific recommendations and consultation regarding employment practices risks and implications.
Leads direct partnership with the target or acquirer on HR related deal components.
Leads HR cross-functional integration team and planning.
Responsible for defining and evolving HR M&A Program including development of HR playbook and deal level documentation management.
This role will also lead other various HR projects as part of the HR Operations team.
Facilitate various cross-functional conversations including topics of technology, compensation, benefits, recruiting, payroll, talent management, risk and compliance.
Identify company integration concerns, assessing cultural, policy, practice, compliance or risk concerns. Develop financial impacts summary to inform valuation model.
Bachelors degree and 10+ years of human resources experience required.
Experience in compensation, benefits, or formal leadership experience preferred.
Mergers & Acquisition experience strongly preferred.
Must be relationship focused, have experience in leading projects ideally in an Agile practice and be able to manage detailed data analysis of information and legal documents.
Critical thinking, decision making, risk evaluation, influence, negotiation, financial acumen, informal leadership in a project team, time management, relationship management, managing conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment are critical skills needed for success.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Has the ability to summarize large content of information into a summary of key findings.
Must have an executive presence with experience working with all levels of management.
Experience in the handling of highly sensitive and confidential information
