The Security Consulting and Engineering team continues to grow and mature. The need for security assessments is increasing with the expansion of mobility, cloud services, etc. This person will partner with domestic and international business partners. Come join the team!

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience (6 years of experience equates to an Associate’s degree when defining “equivalent work experience”)

  • 4+ years of professional Information Security experience

  • Must have proven experience as an information security professional

  • Advanced knowledge in the following areas is required:

  • Cybersecurity principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data

  • Information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption)

  • Experience with risk management policies, requirements, and procedures

  • Computer networking concepts and protocols

  • Cyber threats and vulnerabilities experience

  • Planning, problem-solving, analytical, consulting, time management and decision-making skills required

  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical security plans, strategies, and designs to a variety of audiences

Additional preferred experience:

  • Strong familiarity with NIST 800-53

  • CISSP desired but not required

  • Spanish and English writing and speaking skills
