Responsibilities for Director of Nursing (RN):
- Responsible for staff development, nursing education and management of nursing practice
- Coordinate nursing staff orientation and training to both facility and company policies
- Observe and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff
- Make clinical rounds
- Assist with recruiting efforts
Qualifications for Director of Nursing (RN):
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Iowa ; Bachelors in Nursing preferred
- A valid CPR card
- a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive administrative/management experience in a healthcare setting, with 1 year experience in correctional healthcare preferred.
