Access Systems Inc Data & Financial Reporting Analyst in Des Moines, Iowa

The Data & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for extracting, compiling and analyzing data from multiple systems and then describing the report’s findings to the end users. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation of routine and ad-hoc reports requests; including:

  • Directly fielding the end user report requests to understand the report’s objectives.

  • Determining the correct data sources and acquiring data from the respective data sources by accurately designing and performing routine system queries.

  • Joining the various data sources to develop a concise yet complete report deliverable.

  • Filtering and cleaning data to identify and correct data accuracy issues.

  • Interpreting data and analyzing results to determine if the end user’s objectives were achieved.

  • Describing the report output to the end user.

  • Assist with data compilation and reporting needs pertaining to our internal controls and business process oversight.

  • Assist in designing and developing procedures to maintain data quality and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Accounting or Analyst experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance focus strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Extensive software skills required, including Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to use a combination of analytical tools on large datasets.

  • Superior organizational skills and accuracy.
