As a Clinical Applications Specialist, you will be supporting our pulmonary function testing and cardiopulmonary exercise testing products providing customer support through product and service education. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for the success of our customer deployments. This will include product training, testing for continuing education credits, and strategically partnering with the sales and services teams to provide our customers a best-in-class experience.
Coordinate and deliver on-site and online product and service training to customers in accordance with national recommendations and guidelines. Trainings may range from 1-5 days.
Communicate timely and effectively with customers, sales, and service regarding all training and education related items
Conduct remote-based trainings
Provide clinical support to customers and technical personnel
Identify and communicate opportunities for product improvement using direct customer feedback
Book travel and submit expenses according to company policy
Demonstrate accurate, complete and timely charting of on-site customer training experiences
Proven ability to teach/train technical hardware/software concepts to individuals of various styles of learning and levels of expertise
Experience with Vyaire diagnostic products preferred
Strong organizational and writing skills for creating and delivering training content
Demonstrated ability to present complex material in understandable terms
Regularly incorporate multiple problem-solving strategies to identify best-practice solutions and maintain positive customer experiences despite obstacles encountered
Affectively communicate problems and actively propose solutions addressing items in a timely fashion
Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and replace broken parts
Understand the workflow of our solution
Professional and personal-development drive to maintain an expert-level of knowledge around equipment and software applications to ensure a best-in-class customer experience and one’s ability to carry out job responsibilities
Demonstrate a self-direct work effort
Demonstrate a positive and professional image of oneself and Vyaire
Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred in Respiratory Care, Exercise Physiology or related scientific field
Certified or registered pulmonary function testing (CPFT/RPFT) credential required or obtained within 12 months of date hired
2+ years of experience working in a pulmonary/cardiopulmonary diagnostic laboratory or clinical/technical training experience within industry related to pulmonary diagnostic testing
Essential Function Requirements:
- Credentialing: Employee shall secure and maintain the credentials required by Vyaire Medical and its customers. Securing those credentials may require mandatory vaccinations and other tests. (If employee is unwilling or unable to comply with any credentialing requirement because of religious or health/medical/disability related restrictions, employee must immediately notify Vyaire Medical’s Human Resources Department to discuss possible reasonable accommodations regarding those restrictions.)Travel: Up to 80% of the timeDriving: Valid driver’s license and clean driving historyLocation: Refer to active requisitionPhysical Demand: Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. without limitations or constraints
