Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. The Wholesale Relationship Strategies & Insights (WRS&I) Strategy and Execution Group is seeking an action oriented individual with the desire to meaningfully impact the organization by significantly contributing to the achievement of WRS&I’s strategic goals and objectives. The role requires strong business acumen skills and previous strategic planning experience.

The individual selected for the position will drive strategic initiatives for the successful development of future state processes and methodologies to stand up and optimize WRS&I. This individual will execute on multiple work streams to enable achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives. As a key contributor she/he will work closely with WRS&I Leadership while managing multiple significant activities. The individual must possess excellent communication skills, be able to influence partners across business lines and functional areas, and have experience providing exceptional presentations during regular updates to executive management and other stakeholders. This role will be highly visible, demanding, rewarding and provide an individual the opportunity to help transform how we support our businesses. A key success factor for this role is the ability to distill and present complex concepts in a simplified manner which includes the development and delivery of presentations, status reports, etc.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Develop framework for understanding current state processes and methodologies, gaps, risks, and areas for improvement

  • Partner with leadership team and WRS&I teams to define future state process and methodologies

  • Become a subject matter expert in multiple areas (WRS&I and Business Partners) that leadership can leverage for solutions and accelerate decision making

  • Become a trusted advisor that leadership can depend on to develop solutions / proposals with limited information and minimal oversight

  • Develop and deliver high quality and easily digestible presentations on a regular basis

  • Manage against project plan and key deliverable(s) deadlines

  • Partner with cross functional teams across the enterprise to drive and deliver results

  • Engage with all levels of the organization to achieve shared goals

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
