KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Enterprise Architect to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate organizational change by researching technologies and defining technical strategies for the firm, supporting an ability to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value, provide more capabilities, reduce risks and increase security; support the build of reference architecture and patterns for strategic technology

  • Conduct research and participate in the development of roadmaps, which include product selection, versions, upgrades, projects and milestones

  • Communicate best practices by giving presentations and authoring content aimed at educating others about standards, strategies and otherwise defined best practices

  • Alignment of how architecture solutions are defined and delivered in conjunction with product roadmaps and business drivers to achieve transformational objectives

  • Support the continued improvement and maturity of the architecture function through modern architecture capabilities, methods of delivery and architectural definition frameworks

  • Collaborate with architecture and project teams to facilitate the long-term value proposition of the architecture function to deliver strategic value faster and with more agility

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent application and solution architecture experience in an enterprise context with a general understanding of the enterprise technology patterns required to implement secure enterprise scale solutions in complex enterprise environments

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Working knowledge of modern application architectures for mobile and custom solutions along with custom solutions on platforms like ServiceNow and Salesforce utilizing their low-code frameworks; General understanding of architecture frameworks like SAFE for Architecture, TOGAF or similar

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team and foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities

  • Strong understanding of strategic platforms capabilities from Salesforce, SAP and ServiceNow with respect to leveraging their built-in low-code capabilities to encapsulate new functionality within a supportable framework and augmenting them with microservice architectures from other solutions

  • Ability to define architecture capabilities that are enterprise composable and agnostic to underlying platform solutions, supporting the workplace of the future including mobile, portals, social and traditional desktop digital experiences; knowledge of processes and methods that support driving how architecture can be delivered to support agility and the speed of business

  • US Citizenship is required; This is a remote work opportunity; Candidates must be able to perform work during the Eastern or Central time zones regular business hours
