Responsibilities

  • Guide clients through the selection, implementation, testing, and calibration/tuning of fraud technology solutions.

  • Lead individual project workstreams that evaluate, test and review the supporting documentation for the selection and implementation of fraud and other financial crime technology solutions, including the selection of detection scenarios and determination of detection parameters and predictive analytics.

  • Responsible for following firm risk management protocols to ensure quality of all client deliverables.

  • Lead day-to-day activities of a project including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement, and client personnel.

  • Identify, research, and organize electronic information to assess the appropriateness and sufficiency of data to facilitate effective analysis.

  • Identify the relationships among multiple sources and types of information to identify duplicates, understand data flow, interrogate data, and identify patterns.

  • Analyze and interpret historical financial, operational, and transactional data.

  • Prepare and present reports, written analyses, quantitative exhibits, and other client deliverables regarding project and/or results of work performed.

  • Maintain detailed working records reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and information sources employed during the performance of all analytical tasks.

  • Participate in client meetings to review results of work performed.

  • Maintain professional image within the company and project the same to those outside of the company.

Qualifications

  • Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.

  • Experience in creating predicative models to detect fraud.

  • Strong project management and time management skills. Able to manage several projects simultaneously and autonomously, as well as prioritize as necessary. Able to manage all facets of the project (billing, project schedule, project risks, project issues, etc.)

  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

  • Previous fraud and other financial crime systems analytics experience.

  • Preferred:

  • 8+ years of experience leading large scale project workstreams within financial services.

  • Experience in a management consulting/advisory company.

  • Experience supervising and mentoring staff.

  • Experience with vendor-based fraud solutions.

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Spotfire.

    Travel:

  • Travel may be required depending on projects.

Additional Requirements

The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

This position is open to candidate virtually from EST, CST, PST time zones as well as AZ, UT.
