Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)
-Prepare assigned consolidation process, including all relevant financial statements. (10%)
-Complete journal entries. Verify and prepare supporting documentation associated with journal entry preparation. Maintain general ledger detail and complete monthly reconcilements of numerous accounts and activities. (40%)
-Assist with yearend audit preparation. (10%)
-Prepare periodic sales and use tax returns for assigned entities, including the reconciliation of appropriate transactions. (20%)
-Use personal computer-based systems and software to compile and prepare reports, reconciliations and journal entry support. (15%)
-Perform special projects as necessary. (5%)

-Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
-Perform responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy.
-Prepare reports within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Coordinate and organize multiple tasks to meet targeted time frames.
-Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company.
-Attend work on a regular basis and support the company''s employee policies and procedures.
-Ensure all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understand and comply with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
-Bachelor''s degree in accounting.
-Four or more years of experience in accounting, with emphasis in general ledger entry and reconciliation.
-Accounting/finance skills to apply generally accepted accounting principles in preparing financial statements and reports.
-Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Personal computer skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; some experience with Oracle a plus, demonstrated ability to understand and utilize computer systems.
-Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Effective oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
