Description

The Pharmacy Senior Risk Management Implementation Professional identifies and analyzes potential implementation risks and assists the pharmacy business areas in reducing those risks through comprehensive and compliant implementation plans. The Senior Risk Management Implementations Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Risk Management Implementation Professional analyzes new regulatory-based compliance requirements and assists pharmacy business areas in the development of compliant solutions. Develops and implements cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization's risks. Assesses and communicates information regarding business risks with functions across the organization. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work with regulatory requirements, determine impact on the PBM and assist in defining the process and workflow changes to accommodate the new regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 5 or more years of professional experience, with a preference for Medicare, Medicaid or Commercial pharmacy benefit management operational, regulatory, compliance, or risk management experience

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years working in regulatory-based pharmacy benefits management project implementations
