As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for managing multiple manufacturing and production departments and adhere to all company constraints from hour-to-hour into long-term goals.     Reflex Fitness: Established in 1990 by Mike Adolphson and Craig Askam, Reflex has created its own distinct line-up of durable, precision-crafted strength and conditioning equipment–produced for years in the company’s Milan, Illinois factory. Responsibilities

  • Supervises, motivates and assigns specific responsibilities to team members

  • Monitors team member attendance, productivity, and other performance markers. Provides counseling to team members, as required

  • Recommends changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the unit

  • Enforces all company work and safety rules

  • Familiar with company policies and procedures, including human resources policies

  • Educate direct reports to be able to operate independently and cohesively from other Manufacturing departments

  • Ability to produce parts with hand tools or machine to exact specifications

Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Must have manufacturing leadership experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds and carry up to 80 feet

  • In-depth product knowledge required

  • Must be familiar with various hand and power tools

  • Available to work overtime - (Saturdays and/or longer hours)

  • Attention to detail and must be alert to quality issues
