Emergency medicine is an exciting field to work in. You have to think fast, move quickly, and maintain high levels of communication. Our ER Tech’s thrive in this environment. They enjoy supporting our ER nurses and physicians with the shared goal of helping patients. If you are an ER Tech who can keep your cool in emergency situations and enjoy running (safely) down the hallway when necessary, connect with us!

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care as delegated by the RN and medical staff

  • Performs selected diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures (aka: the cool stuff)

  • Transport patients as need

  • Discharge patients when necessary

  • High school diploma or GED as required by state

  • Certification as an ER Tech as required by our state

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required

  • Other certifications may be required by state:

  • Must have successfully completed the 75-hour state approved course for Nursing Assistant if hired into the Nursing Assistant position after April 30, 1998 as required in your state (Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee)

  • Nurse Assistants must be on the Nurse Aide Registry of the State in which they work if hired into the Nursing Assistant position after April 30, 1998 (Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee)
