We are currently searching for a Sr Project Manager, Airshow Content & Design to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA (1000). This technical position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the default Airshow content, including GUI design, databases and map content.
Creates new GUI designs for Airshow products ensuring that the design is both functional and beautiful. Updates baseline GUI designs as new features or customer issues are addressed.
Establishes and maintains baseline databases, including: baseline maps, place names, translations, population, country codes, points of interest descriptions and pictures, elevation, lat/long coordinates, airports, borders and other related items.
Coordinates translation projects with third party translation houses to obtain data for specific projects.
Coordinates with various third party vendors to obtain content or specialized design services.
Creates mockups for special projects as requested by customers or product line.
Establish new video and audio announcements for use within Airshow.
Demonstrates leadership skills.
Results oriented with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company and customers.
Individual job duties may vary.
Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree five years of related experience.
Requires extensive experience with Photoshop.
Requires extensive database experience with SQL and MS Access.
Preferred experience working with vendors and engineering.
Preferred experience in the aerospace and IFE industry.
Preferred experience in GUI and UX (design and usability).
