In this position, you will partner with engineering to provide expertise and innovative solutions that support the engineering process. Electronics Technicians provide technical resources, knowledge, assistance, and support engineers with many of the “hands on” technical tasks associated with engineering.

As an electronics technician in the Client Engineering Labs you will support internal and external customers while working on the latest technology and innovative designs that keep people safe, connected, and informed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of technical tasks which require a primary understanding of all technical objectives

  • Applies electronic theory to Client out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic product

  • Provide support in regards to research, design, development, test, manufacturing, and process improvement

  • Perform as a member of a technical team utilizing effective communication skills. Contacts are primarily within immediate work unit, however you may be asked to become a team lead on some projects

  • Utilize routine test or diagnostic equipment. Ability to learn and use software tools

  • Participate in mentoring from peers in the technical community. Actively engage in developing new approaches and techniques that promote continuous improvement in all work processes

  • Documentation of job specific activities such as electronic design, modifications, data collection, calibration, and design of experiment data.

  • Utilize schematics, procedures, and engineering drawings

  • Follow all written and verbal instructions, including test procedures

  • Operate in accordance with corporate, operations, and division policies, procedures and practices in compliance with accepted business ethics

  • Adheres to all applicable environmental, safety and health procedures

Basic Qualifications Associates degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of an associate's degree, HS Diploma/Equivalent plus three years of related experience
