Contributes to the development of new production control concepts and processes. Wide range of experience ability to resolve complex Production Control issues. Can look up and fix production coordinator metrics. COGI, TECO’s <30 days. Can RTV product. Actively participates in DP&E process and drive changes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Can perform cycle counts/inventory reconciliations. Track’s flow and daily schedule adherence. Knows status on flow barriers/issues. Manges lead times and leas time reduction (monitor/improve).

  • Monitors purchasing updates from buyers, understands sale orders. Is able to order and expedite parts. Can do rescheduling and had MRP and product knowledge.

  • Can enter Web plans.

  • Can perform parts provisioning/plan strategic WIP.

  • Develops solutions to complex Production Control problems which require regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

  • Works on complex PC issues where analysis or data requires in depth evaluation of variables. Exercise judgement in PC decision – making.

  • Effective at implementing supermarket/ Kanban controls.

  • Develops detailed schedules, material requirements lists and production plans for established product lines.

  • Monitor’s production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials timed to meet production requirements.

  • Trouble shoots and monitors potential scheduling problems, maintaining records such as reports on production and material deficiencies.

  • Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercise considerable latitude on determining objectives and approaches to assignment.

  • Determines production control and methods and [procedures on new assignments and coordinates activities of other personnel. Work is performed without appreciable direction

  • Network with key contracts outside area of expertise and across enterprise. Serves as key PC focal point on team initiatives.

  • Is able to prioritize specific customer orders and if necessary, revise production schedules.

  • Analysis – Demonstrate the ability to provide a logical in-depth analysis of a problem or situation.

  • Coordinating – Ensures that the information has been received and accurately understood by all parties.

  • Dependability – Ensures that all details of a project are accurate before delegating to others.

  • Drive – Displays energy, persistence and a positive attitude when working on most projects.

  • Judgement – Base’s decisions on factual information and considers alternative courses of action before reaching a decision.

  • Relationships – develops relationships with otherers that are based upon trust.

  • Team Building – Creates effective working conditions on the team by educating its members about the value of each person’s contribution.

  • Time Management – Works from a daily to do list, but will reorganize if priorities suddenly shift.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required
