This position is to install new HVAC & Refrigeration equipment parts, make repairs, and trouble shoot live electrical components. Responsible for installing and maintaining piping, welding, soldering, refrigeration equipment, boilers, pumps, and brazing. Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Work 8 hours, as well as be on call and work after hours, nights, weekends, holidays

  • Have good electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams

  • Lift minimum of 50#

  • Clean cut uniforms, boots, safety gear

  • Complete paperwork accordingly

  • Good communication skills as well as customer relation skills

  • Converse with customers appropriately

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Work with refrigerant, electricity, chemicals, natural gas

  • Use basic computer skills

  • Run required equipment to perform work or task, including climbing ladders and stairs

  • Accurate daily time and equipment reporting


  • High school diploma / GED

  • 5 year Local 33 Apprenticeship Program or Vocational Schooling


  • Valid driver’s license

  • Universal refrigerant license

  • State licenses: HVAC, refrigeration, hydronic, plumbing, universal CFC license, 30-hour OSHA, 10-hour OSHA, safety training

  • Must have good driving record.

  • A contingency for employment will require the successfully passing of a background investigation.
