Geonetric Senior Project Manager in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
As a Geonetric Sr. Project Manager, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients while they’re implementing or redesigning a new website or undertaking a large digital project. Along the way, you’ll provide amazing customer service while keeping the project in scope, on time, and in budget. Working with multiple teams, you’ll consistently identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies. You’ll also collaborate with Geonetric teams to keep the project moving forward and develop creative solutions that match clients’ needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
While you might get to work on just about anything at Geonetric, you’ll primarily:
Manage complex horizon three projects (such as product development and undefined projects by creating best practices and new processes including setting project expectations, aligning cross-team members, and solving client concerns
Maintain and expand a strong, positive, and profitable client relationship ensuring client satisfaction through the project lifecycle
Develop project plans and communicate project process and expectations to clients and internal project team, maintaining shared documentation
Identify, prioritize, and solve unique problems that require creative solutions, working across teams
Schedule and lead client project calls including developing project reports and managing client requests
Communicate critical client messaging, including to unsatisfied clients and related to client escalations
Manage budget/hours of the project and determine billable status of work
Keep project in scope and monitor and communicate progress and changes to client and internal teams
Evaluate, identify, and iterate on project management processes, taking client and internal team members’ feedback, market data, and PMP best practices into account
Identify opportunities and recommend additional Geonetric products and services to maximize client’s investments in Geonetric and work across teams to advance the opportunity.
Recommend enhancements to Geonetric products and services to better meet client needs
Serve as a subject matter expert on project management at Geonetric, determining internal best practices and identifying and leading process improvement opportunities
Collaborate with Geonetric teams to deliver effective, innovative, unified, cross-team solutions to clients, while balancing client and company needs, ensuring positive client satisfaction and financial results.
Serve as a leader on the Project Management Team by mentoring and expanding knowledge around PMP, healthcare strategy, and digital projects
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in marketing, business, or related field, bachelor’s Degree Preferred
5+ years of related experience in client relationship management or project management required
Web experience preferred (site development, Web applications, digital services)
Healthcare experience preferred
Microsoft Office experience required
Strong analytical and organizational skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Knowledge of PMP process required
Occasionally may require overnight travel to client meetings.
