U.S. Bank Senior Commercial Product Manager 4 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Elavon is seeking a Commercial Product Manager, who oversees the strategic product management for an assigned product line(s) in support of the organization's goals and market needs. This role will be responsible for optimizing the sales and revenue performance of the Security & Gateway Solutions, including PCI, PCI P2PE, encryption, tokenization, and payment gateway.

Successful candidates in this role will:

  • Coordinate the successful launch of new products, features and functions across key organization groups and into our distribution channels to enable sales and drive revenue

  • Investigate and understand competitors and the market and how our solutions fit within it

  • Coordinate with our partners on integration efforts, enhancements, communications and other change initiatives

  • Continuously measure key performance indicator (KPI) outcomes in terms of Voice of Customer, Voice of Sales, sales units, dollar volume, margin, overall revenue, plus customer activations, retention and others as determined to measure success

  • Transform KPI outcomes into improvement opportunities across the customer lifecycle (application, boarding, activation, processing and retention) and interpret how these improvements can be affected through changes to organizational levers (e.g. product design, process improvement, pricing, packages, promotional activity)

  • Prioritize and drive these improvement opportunities, measure outcomes and continuously improve the overall product and processes that support it

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight to ten years of experience as a Product Manager

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Eight or more years of payments experience Product or project management experience

  • Considerable knowledge of strategic analysis, pricing, and implementation Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills

  • Strong financial, data, and competitive analysis

  • Demonstrated change management, project management and organizational skills

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills required

  • Strong product management skills with an understanding of the product lifecycle, marketing 4 Ps (product, price, place, promotion), marketing research, competitive analysis and strategic analysis

  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of an organization
