, Cedar Rapids, IA, 52498-0505 USA As a Senior Accountant within the General Accounting General Ledger team, this project-based role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and communications skills to develop new processes and procedures to support a variety of projects.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Lease entries and reconciliations to support Missions, Avionics and Interior Systems business units

Perform the accounting and control activities associated with intercompany loans and holding companies.

Routinely work in multiple accounting and consolidation systems including SAP, JD Edwards, and Hyperion.

Approve journal entries completed by team in Agile Point tool.

Complete and approve account reconciliation in Account Reconciliation Management Tool.

Facilitate SAP go-lives for IMS and heritage B/E Aerospace companies currently on CostPro / JD Edwards, including testing and implementation.

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Strong analytical skills

Strong interpersonal and team work

Project management

Strong organizational and time management

Communication both oral and written

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (in Accounting or Finance) and 5 years of relevant experience OR

Advanced Degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is Required.

Must be a US Person/ Green Card Holder

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP, JD Edwards and HFM Experience


General Understanding of Collins Aerospace Accounting processes

Proficient in Microsoft Office
