Fiserv Operations Management Specialist in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
It’s an exciting time for the CRM Solutions team in Fiserv as we transition to a new SaaS business model with a major new cloud-based product, new strategic partnerships and a bold growth plan. There’s a lot of operational transformation ahead of us, and we need a hardworking, energetic problem-solver to help us navigate it.
You will be part choreographer and part air traffic controller. You’ll lay a strong operational foundation for growth by constantly seeking to optimize the processes and systems that help us keep commitments to clients, internal and external partners. You’ll be hands-on with a wide range of corporate systems and data related to budgeting, accounting, purchasing, billing, time reporting, project portfolio management, customer support, sales pipeline, risk management, partner programs, etc. This will give you a bird’s eye view of the CRM Solutions business, help us run a tight ship and enable you to bring valuable business insights to the leadership team.
You’re the kind of person who thrives on organizing chaos and implementing sustainable processes and practical tools that make a business more efficient, resilient and scalable. You love having all the data at your fingertips, establishing great relationships with internal partners and figuring out how all the pieces fit together across a complex organization. Use your strong analytical skills with attention to detail and bias for implementing elegant but pragmatic tools, processes and reporting.
In this role, you can expect to:
Work with corporate functions including Finance, Accounting, Billing, Sourcing and Global Services as well as with partner companies like Microsoft.
Work with: Finance to ensure accurate financial forecasting based on project delivery schedules; Accounting to establish and monitor ongoing processes to calculate, report and pay revenue share and royalties to partners; Billing to automate client invoicing for SaaS and consumption-based cloud services.
Administer large reseller programs, understanding complex contractual relationships and partner program requirements.
Establish and monitor regular operational information flow for indications of issues (e.g., cross-departmental billing, A/R aging reports, Billable utilization, revenue recognition, customer support case trends)
Track and report on professional services project delivery success metrics and assist in resource allocation, demand forecasting and capacity planning
Produce recurring and ad hoc management reports as needed
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred
5+ years of experience working within software/technology services
Experience working with finance and accounting teams in large organizations, ideally related to business models centered on SaaS and/or technical professional services.
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
- Experience with Microsoft Partner programs and the following systems would be considered beneficial: Clarity, ServiceNow, SAP accounting, Microsoft Partner Center, Dynamics 365, Coupa
