Onsite initially for the first 30 days and then remote with onsite as needed w/48 hrs notice. Client is interested in local/regional candidates to Cedar Rapids, IA only.

IT Project Manager Required Skills: Experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and execution (Required 7 Years) Experience developing and managing detailed Project work plan, Work Breakdown Structure, and resource allocation (Required 7 Years) Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field (Required 7 Years) Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification or ability to achieve it within 2 years (Required 7 Years) Project Management Professional (PMP) or ability to achieve it within two (2) years (Required 7 Years) Performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature Assigning, prioritizing, monitoring, and reviewing work assignments Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders using both technical and non-technical language M365 Applications, Project, Visio, and SharePoint Managing projects and deadlines

Preferred Knowledge and Experience: Principles and practices of employee supervision Business and technology trends Basic understanding of common technologies such as business application systems, databases, application design, programming languages, operating systems, and current Internet technologies such as SaaS.

IT Project Manager Required Licenses or Certifications: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification or ability to achieve it within 2 years. Project Management Professional (PMP) or ability to achieve it within two (2) years.

The IT Project Manager plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to an agreed upon schedule, budget, and scope. This includes coordinating efforts of stakeholders at all levels of the organization, IT staff, business, contract staff, or vendors as appropriate. The IT Project Manager is responsible for developing project requirements, writing a project plan, and managing the project through all phases.

IT Project Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop full-scale project plans including project artifacts as appropriate to the size and scope of the project. Identify and manage project dependencies, budgets, and critical path. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation, and presentations. Work with project stakeholders to identify and manage project risks and issues, maintain risks and issue logs, and work with stakeholders on solutions or mitigation plans. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Define project scope through collaboration with stakeholders, goals, and deliverables that support business goals. Translate business needs into detailed business requirements and critical success factor to achieve the goals of the project and meeting business needs. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Work assignments will be focused on Public Utility functions within t e CLIENT to include Water, Waste Pollution Control, Garbage andRecycling, and Sewer. Representative projects may include, but not be limited to, Enterprise Reporting system upgrade, billing and finance systems upgrade, data analytics implementation, server upgrades, and security solutions.
