Electronic Technician

Provides supervised system support for all equipment used by the company. Performs preventive and remedial maintenance on electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical systems and equipment to ensure production schedules are met. Installs and relocates equipment as assigned.


  1. Monitor the production systems for operational problems.

  2. Correct system and network problems as directed.

  3. Install/update software as directed.

  4. Completes equipment maintenance logs and reports.

  5. Able to make repairs under stressful deadlines with minimum supervision.

  6. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance.

  7. Performs remedial maintenance as dispatched or when taking calls directly.

  8. Repairs equipment to the component level.

  9. At all times, demonstrates safe work habits and ethical behavior.

  10. Compliant with all OSHA and Environmental regulations/policies.

Working hours: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM


-Ability to focus and concentrate on details and work duties to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.

-Above average computer skills and work with Microsoft Office products.

  • Very good inter-personal and communication skills.

  • Self directed and show initiative

  • Capable of working in a team environment.

  • Able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours, 99-100% of the time.

  • Able to climb up and down stairs repeatedly.

  • Able to push, pull or lift 5-15 lbs. repetitiously, 15-40 lbs. regularly, and 40-60 lbs. occasionally. Able to

lift 60-75 lbs. with assistance of another individual.

  • Able to reach/stretch 12 to 36 inches constantly.

  • Average to above average hand/eye coordination.

  • Able to distinguish colors.


Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years of experience with the following areas of expertise: support of mini-computers, computer networks, repair of electronic assemblies to the component level. Equipment worked on or with should include Computer workstations, front-end systems, and oscilloscopes, soldering tools, various meters and hand tools. Proven record of providing the highest level of customer service in dealing with a wide variety of people. Demonstrates high professional standards.
