DevOps/IT System Engineer

job summary:

Role: DevOps/IT System Engineer

Required Skills:

• Experience working across business and IT stakeholders delivering projects

• Ability to manage deliverable working with scrum team.

• At least 7 years of experience in depth hand's on as a developer or DevOps in both Microsoft, Java and Python required

• Must have understanding of SDLC, SCM (Source Control Management) and CI/CD Continuous Integration and Continuous Development concepts

• Must have experience with DevOps CI/CD applications and automated build and deploy configuration and processes.

• Must have experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket and Ansible

• Technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills required for ALL of these tools: Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins (Cloudbees), Artifactory, Ansible Tower, Sonar.

• Command Line experience in both Power Shell and UNIX/Python required

• Expert at writing scripts (Power Shell and UNIX or Python)

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows server security models. PbRole, Service accounts, Active Directory groups, OU

• Experience in Autosys and Python is huge plus

• Experience in Bit bucket and Ansible Tower tools on Horizon platform for CI/CD model

• Knowledge of Agile methodology, Scrum team, sprint planning, retrospective meet along with JIRA tool

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with program management

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
