You will work with project managers, manufacturing and customers, within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts, & resolve issues.2019-01-11Senior professionals ( > 5 years of work experience) Tasks: Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: * Interpret customer specifications and drawings as they apply to switchgear / switchboard equipment and related products. * Prepare and submit a drawing package based upon the customer specification to obtain customer approval (designs shall include protective relaying, circuit breaker control, instrumentation, PLC control, AC / DC control power schemes, etc.). * Release and support this design (drawing package and Bills Of Material (BOM)) based upon the customer returned documents for manufacturing this equipment (this will include device BOM, mechanical BOM, mechanical elevation drawing, panel layout drawing, electrical schematics, connection diagrams, punch plots, wire list file, etc.). * Design control circuits for auto-transfer schemes based upon a customer specification and sequence of operation. * Interface with customers, district sales and field installation services personnel. * Ensure that we meet customer requirements, quality, safety, and cost objectives. * Maintain planned output to meet schedule and high levels of engineering quality. * Support manufacturing in resolution of issues and engineering change notices. * Promote open communication and maintain effective working relationships. * Plan, organize, lead and execute multiple small and large projects simultaneously. * Generate ideas for process improvement opportunities and execute small projects. * Coordinate scheduling of orders to level load and set achievable delivery dates. Requirements: Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university & a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience, (OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience in an engineering, IT, scientific or other technical position). Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with switchboard/switchgear (SWBD/SWGR) products or motor control centers (MCC). * Experience designing controls and communication circuits, including industry communication protocols, programable logic controllers and human machine interfaces. * Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to analyze and resolve problems. * Demonstrated ability to
