Each of its brands, including Case IH, New Holland Agriculture, Case and New Holland Construction, FPT Industrial, Capital, and Parts & Service, is a major international force in its specific sector.Lead a product development team to achieve objectives of assigned projects by: facilitating necessary meetings; tracking actions to closure and ensuring designs are cost-efficient, robust and feasible for the customer's application.Develop and monitor investments, timing plans, risk assessments and mitigation for assigned projects.Provide status updates to management, following up on action items assigned.Participate as a member of the cross functional teams assigned to achieve project objectives.Remain current on engineering and construction and/or agricultural technological developments and evolving field practices through field contacts/visits, attending meetings and membership in technical societies.Offer innovative thinking, which explore industry "needs", to create new opportunities and applications for the DZ products.Utilize engineering methodologies, philosophies and tools to ensure robust root-cause, risk and mitigation analysis.Proficient in related corporate standards and processes helping the Chief engineer to guide the teams.Support the CNH Industrial 10 Leadership Behaviors through your actions, ethics and communication.Other duties and expertise as assigned by the Chief Engineer.Required QualificationsThe qualified candidate will have experience with the following:BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural degree.Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience working with and troubleshooting and 3D modeling with Construction and/or Agricultural equipment. Understanding of vehicle systems and applications. Hands on experience a plus with Dozer products including a basic knowledge of competitive environment and customer requirements. Experience completion of major projects from conception to product release utilizing standard engineering release processes and tools.The preferred candidate will have experience with the following:Cross functional exposure a plusExcellent Communication and Interpersonal skills to participate in a strong cross-functional team.Independent thinking and analytical skills in resolving issues.Proven ability to work under minimal supervision in order to commit to and meet established targets and deadlines.Ability to travel to other plants and supplier locations worldwide as required to represent the product line and meet the demands of assigned programs.Strong work ethic showing a willingness to provide technical leadership and mentor less trained engineers.Ability to use MS office suite of software (Word, Power Point, Excel).Ability to support analysis and simulation efforts.
