Position Title:Veterinary Locum - Anesthesia
The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University, located in Ames, Iowa, invites applicants for a temporary Locum position in the Anesthesia Service Unit in the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (LVMC).
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to collaborate with the current accomplished team of veterinary specialists and staff to provide outstanding:
Consultations with other hospital services and referring veterinarians, if applicable.
Professional services including patient evaluation, specialty case management and follow-up care.
Rotational instruction and evaluation of students, interns and residents, if applicable.
Required Minimum Qualifications• License to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Iowa on or before the first day of the appointment• Successful completion of an American College of Veterinary Anesthesia andAnalgesia (ACVAA) or European College of Veterinary Anesthesia andAnalgesia (ECVAA) residency program.
