The Sr. Product Engineer will supportthe Digital Displacement Business within Danfoss Power Solutions' Global RandD organization. Digital Displacement represents truly ground-breaking technology for the hydraulics industry and we are at the beginning of an amazing journey; more details can be found at www.digitaldisplacement.com.Job Responsibilities Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for maintenance and modification of product design to meet requirementsDevelops effective verification plans using DFMEA, Design Reviews, and expert inputExecutes analysis and test plans, analyzing data, and documenting conclusions in report formatProvides technical support to other functional areasProactively identifies product design improvement opportunitiesContributes inventions, new designs, new features, processes, or techniques to solve problemsBackground and Skills BS in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering requiredWorking knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems required5+ years of industry experience in developing, analyzing, and testing to validate system performance is preferredHands-on mechanical skills and experience a plusStrong, demonstrated technical background and work experienceExcellent communicator with an interest in working across organizational linesPossess strong troubleshooting and communication skillsEvaluate situations objectively and demonstrate the ability to make timely decisions that are intended to have a positive effect on work performanceOrganize and prioritize work assignments to complete assignments/tasks on timeAbility to apply creative approaches and ideas to solve problems maximizing effective use of appropriate resourcesDemonstrate flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignmentsDanfoss - Engineering Tomorrow At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
