Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

The Landscape Architecture Department within the College of Design at Iowa State University is accepting applications as part of a non-tenure track lecturer pool to teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Applications will be accepted and reviewed on an as needed basis depending upon course offerings in the second year travelling studio, design, construction, planning, plant materials and/or history/theory/criticism.

Required Education and Experience

Masters in landscape architecture or related field

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Professional or teaching experience in landscape architecture (including teaching in the field), or related discipline;
  • Professional registration

Required Licensure(s)/Certification(s)

Valid U.S. State driver’s license

This is a lecturer-pool announcement. The fraction of work and duration of contract will depend on course loads/needs. Review of applications will begin on June 14, 2018. However, applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
