Financial Analyst Requisition ID: 16609 Job Location(s): Ames, US, 50011 Baltimore, US, 21220 Job Description Danfoss is searchingfor a Financial Analyst to join us at our Baltimore, Maryland or Ames, Iowa location in the US.The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing Financial Controlling expertise, analysis, support, and advice to the North America Business Leaders including our President, Sales Vice Presidents, Regional Heads in Finance, Customer Service, and Human Resources. Ensure high quality service, analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements.Job Responsibilities Responsible for being the finance liaison between the NAM President, Regional Sales Vice Presidents, and Global Sales ControllersPrepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc cross-segment consolidated sales reports for the Regional Management TeamResponsible for reporting actual sales results and providing in-depth analysis including variance analysis Responsible for the submissions of the NAM Regional Sales Forecast, working with Regional Sales Vice Presidents and Sales Controlling teams to consolidate monthly and annual sales forecastsParticipate in the month end close process and ensure timely completion of tasks and issuance of financial analysis and reports to managementPerform financial controlling responsibilities over cost centers and projectsProvide monthly and ad-hoc reporting for NAM regional fixed expenses, Presidents Office, Customer Service, and Human ResourcesPerform ad-hoc analysis and controlling support for various departmentsWork on special projectsWork with IT for the system upgrades and conversionsWork with other regional analyst across the globe to share/learn and implement best practicesSupport the enhancement, development, implementation, monitoring and compliance of internal controlsBackground and Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA Certification is preferred5+ years of experience in accounting/controlling including 2 years in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge and experience with global manufacturing businessesHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, SAP, Business Intelligence, Hyperion/HFM/EPMStrong written and verbal communication skillsDanfoss - Engineering Tomorrow At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
