We are offering an exciting opportunity for a strategic and experienced CFO with a thriving, multi entity, family business. The role is based in Northeast Iowa, and involves a wide range of financial management tasks, from budgeting and tax planning to strategic planning and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate and evaluate the company's financial programs and information systems including budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and asset conservation.

• Train and support the finance team to enhance their understanding and knowledge of financial management matters.

• Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense, balance sheet reports, and reports to banking institutions.

• Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.

• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements.

• Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, and ledger and account maintenance.

• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.

• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.

• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.

• Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.

• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders and pinpoint potential weak areas.

• Oversee financial management of outlying operations including developing financial and budget policies and procedures.

• Proficiency in Budget Processes

• Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis

• Experience in Strategic Planning

• Strong relations with Banks

• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a CFO role ideally in either manufacturing or agriculture industries.

• Proficiency in Budget Processes is required

• Must possess strong skills in Cash Flow Analysis

• Experience in Strategic Planning is essential

• Must have established and maintained Bank Relations in the past

• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements is required

• A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary

• Must have a proven track record of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and financial software applications

• Strong presentation, negotiation and decision-making skills

• Ability to strategize and solve problems

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and people skills

• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

• CPA is a strong advantage id
