Description

As a Logistics Coordinator with our client, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products through our supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing distribution processes to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation of materials and products to and from manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.

  • Plan and optimize distribution routes to minimize transportation costs and maximize efficiency.

  • Track shipments and communicate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, procurement, and customer service, to prioritize orders and resolve logistical issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and transportation costs.

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is helpful or equivalent years of experience.

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
